Mathew & Savi commenced their ministry at Parkside in 1989. Since graduating from Morling College Mathew has pastored Yagoona Baptist and Maroubra Baptist. Prior to this, Mathew was also involved in a number of cross-cultural ministries around the world including a year on the gospel ship Logos, teaching in a Christian School in North India and serving as a missionary with New Tribes Mission. Savi, who is also trained in Bible College and Preschool teaching, has a passion for womens ministry and pastoral care.

Mathew and Savi’s vision is to see a congregation of people from all cultures and ethnic backgrounds worshipping together as one family.This vision is becoming a reality at Parkside Church today.

Mathew & Savi have two children, their daughter Sherina, who is married to Dinuke, and son Jason, who all are actively involved in ministry at Parkside.

Associate Pastor - Youth & Children

Great to have you on our site! My name is Matthew Le Claire and I am the Associate Pastor at Parkside church. I take care of our Young Adults, Youth and Children’s ministries. In all these area’s we are passionate about reaching others with the good news about Jesus. Not to mention we have a lot of fun as we learn and grow along the way!

Prior to working at Parkside I was a café manager and then a missionary on board the MV Doulos ship. One of my roles on the ship was working in the Creative Arts department training people in creative forms of evangelism. I completed my Bachelor of Theology at Sydney Missionary and Bible College. Currently, I am engaged in further study at Morling College and continue to minister in our wonderful multicultural church!

As a Pastor and member of Parkside I am passionate about reaching those without hope with the glorious message of Christ. My desire is that people will be wonderfully transformed by God’s amazing word and through his work in their lives. I have a particular heart for youth and it is my great joy to worship in a church that is truly rich with so many cultures and people groups. Stop in and experience our church sometime!

Danny & Mary Forster
Pastoral Care – Prime Timers (over 55s)

Danny and Mary have been married for over 35 years. They have 2 Children and 5 Grandchildren. Danny grew up in Victoria and was a Serviceman and Police Officer for 40 years. Mary grew up in the Fairfield area, they came to know our Lord over 20 years ago, and are now looking forward to serving him by reaching out to the older members of our community, and passing on his love.
